The Catit PIXI Drinking Fountain is one of my favorite tools for ensuring your kitty stays hydrated! Over time, cats have evolved to primarily obtain their hydration from their food—check out my blog post here on the importance of wet food! When it comes to water outside of food, cats prefer flowing water, as it contains less bacteria compared to stagnant water. That's why providing them with a fountain is more appealing and helps keep them hydrated.
The PIXI fountain is made of stainless steel, which is an excellent anti-bacterial option. It also features a cute low water light indicator on its nose. Inside the fountain, there's a carbon filter that cleans the water as it flows through.
